Building Brighter Futures

CF’s holistic approach to young people’s welfare

We take a whole-child approach. That’s why CF offers a broad, complementary suite of programmes designed to meet young people where they are and give them the tools to thrive.

What we provide

  • Targeted tutoring
Short‑term and ongoing sessions to boost academic performance, close the attainment gap, and restore confidence in the classroom.

  • Group therapeutic sessions
Trauma‑informed, age‑appropriate group work that reduces anxiety, improves wellbeing, and builds emotional resilience.

  • One-to-one mentoring
Stable, trusted adult relationships that raise aspirations, develop coping skills, and protect vulnerable children at risk of exclusion or exploitation.

In recent years, there has been a visible rise in the pressures affecting young people’s mental health, resilience and overall wellbeing. In response, CF expanded its educational programmes to integrate social and emotional development alongside academic support.

Today, we remain focused on reaching more children than ever with services that are practical, preventative and child-centred, helping young people build the confidence, resilience and foundations they need to thrive.

Why this matters

We work directly with partner schools, who identify the pupils most in need, so our interventions are targeted and effective. Demand is high, we currently have a waiting list of schools hoping to work with us.

Support our work. With donor support, we can continue delivering these essential services to the children who need them most.
