Helping Young People Achieve Their Potential

What We Do
What we do so
We believe every child deserves the best possible start in life - whatever their family’s circumstances.
Since 1997, the Chandran Foundation has provided education and training support for young people from low income families living in inner city areas. The Foundation was established by Captain Kandiah Chandran MBE OBE, following his retirement as Chief Executive of Presentation Housing Association.
GetSmarter
We offer after-school tuition in English and Maths for children whose families cannot afford a tutor. Working in small groups, our teams of highly-motivated university graduates provide tailored support to ensure that each child receives the help they need to raise their attainment levels
GetFed
No child should arrive at school hungry. Our breakfast clubs provide a healthy start to the day and ensure that children are alert and ready to concentrate in the classroom.

GetResilient
As a result of the mental health crisis, we are now offering a programme for children and their families, that is designed to give them the tools and confidence to thrive inside and outside of the classroom.
